A transportation company with more than three decades of experience has been responsible for carrying more than 40,000 shipments between outside countries and the United States in safe and dependable ways.
In an effort to continue their long line of reliable service, the company approached ExxonMobil to identify a way to improve fuel economy and optimize engine oil drains while guaranteeing component protection.

The Solution
After completing an advanced lubrication investigation, ExxonMobil recommended the company upgrade to Mobil Delvac™ Extreme 10W-30 high-performance diesel engine oil in order to increase fleet availability and enhance overall reliability.
Mobil Delvac Extreme 10W-30, formulated with a boosted additive system, provides excellent wear and protection and oxidation stability in order to help operators improve performance.
The Results
After implementing Mobil Delvac Extreme 10W-30 within its fleet, the company was able to extend oil drains from 50,000 to 70,000 miles, helping keep its trucks on the road while saving more than 500 hours in required oil changes each year.
By following ExxonMobil's recommendation, the company was also able to achieve a fuel economy benefit of 3% allowing the company to save 7,100 metric tons of CO2 and 229,500 gallons of fuel annually.
